HomeForge was founded in 2014 by Marcus Hale after a particularly painful remodel on his own home in Mission Hills. The contractor disappeared for three weeks. Permits were never pulled. Photos came via text message, blurry and out of order.
We decided to build the operating system we wish every contractor used. The result is a company that runs on the Internet Computer — every photo, contract, permit, and payment is recorded permanently and visible to the client in real time.
Today we complete 55–70 major projects a year across San Diego County. Same team. Same obsessive standards. Zero surprises.
